The University of Wisconsin DanceSport Team is a UW organization founded in 2004 by a group of UW students and alumni with the purpose of promoting and training ballroom dancers to accomplish ballroom dancing at the competitive level.

Our Mission: To produce outstanding ballroom dancers who are able to compete successfully at all levels from beginners to national champions alike.

 

 

DanceSport Team membership fee per semester (Fall or Spring) is
$110/student and $140/non-student.

Full Year Membership is

$200/Student and $250/Non-Student

which including the following benefits


1) Lessons every Saturday, starting at 1:00PM, The Right Step Studio. See schedule for full time listing as lesson lengths vary.

2) Led practice by experienced members every Tuesday 6pm-9pm, Union South, Check TITU for room assignment

3) Optional practice every Monday 7pm-9pm and Thursday, 6:00PM-8:00PM, Union South, Check TITU for room assignment and every Wednesday, 4:00-6:30PM, 249 Lathrop Hall.

4) Discounted private lessons from our coach, Dakota Windancer and access to The Right Step Studio floor space

5) Complimentary UWMBDA membership, which generally cost $12/students
and $20/non-students per semester (Visit www.uwmbda.org for more

6) DanceSport Team jacket for only additional $25

7) Some support to cover dance competition expenses

8) Unlimited moral support from our team members

9) Lots and lots of fun : )
